Simcoe – with perfect hopping properties! The hop's special combination of oils makes it a good choice as a bittering hop. Simcoe is also used as an aroma hop and is known for its aromatic properties. Simcoe is described as fruity with hints of herbs and spruce. Simcoe is one of those hops that is easily associated with IPA, but has a much wider range of uses than that. By American brewers, Simcoe is used bordering on the passionate in a variety of different types of beer.

Packaging:
The hops are gently weighed, nitrogen flushed and sealed in light-tight aluminum-coated packaging for optimal shelf life.
Flushing with nitrogen displaces oxygen that would otherwise degrade the quality of the hops. This method lowers the oxygen content in the bag to 0.6-0.8% oxygen which is very good for preserving quality/taste/aroma. The hop bag is stored cool at <4 degrees Celsius.

The opened bag is squeezed together and closed with a ziplock for further storage in the refrigerator.
