Bourbon Oak Wood Cubes - 100g

Oak cubes from newly emptied Tennessee whiskey barrels.
This is American oak, and the cubes add both a touch of oak, as well as a bit of southern Bourbon.

Disinfection:
We recommend leaving the cubes and chips to soak in brandy for a few days before adding them.
There are several options here, try to find something that you think suits the finished result.
You can also put them in the oven, but be careful, as too high heat and/or too long a time in the oven can change the properties of the cubes. 90 degrees for 5-8 minutes is recommended.

Contact time and quantity:
There is no definitive answer to this. Beer style, storage and your own taste preferences come into play.
Chips can be stored for 3-7 days, and cubes for 1-6 months. Taste as you go.
