Pacific Sunrise 2024 100g Hop Pellets

Pacific Sunrise provides a smooth and fruity profile with more of a “sweet/fruit compote” feel than many other NZ hops. It has moderate bitterness and works well in juicy, modern beers – either alone or in combination with more intense aroma hops.

Origin: New Zealand
Aroma/taste: Orange and lemon at the forefront, with tropical fruit (melon, mango), berries and light sweetness, rounded off by floral notes
Use: Dual-purpose – both bittering and late addition/dry hopping
Beer styles: IPA, NEIPA, Pale Ale, modern lager
Alpha acid: 11.5%

Packaging:
The hops are gently weighed, nitrogen flushed and sealed in light-tight aluminum-coated packaging for optimal shelf life.
Flushing with nitrogen displaces oxygen that would otherwise degrade the quality of the hops. This method lowers the oxygen content in the bag to 0.6-0.8% oxygen which is very good for preserving quality/taste/aroma. The hop bag is stored cool at <4 degrees Celsius.

The opened bag is squeezed together and closed with a ziplock for further storage in the refrigerator.
