I wish I'd bought this sooner
"Struggling with a mash paddle with one hand isn't my idea of fun when I'm trying to slowly add my grains with the other, and it's no good at helping me find and break up the occasional dough ball. This just makes the mash in more efficient, and saves the inevitable elbow strain I've been getting in my old age. This is also a much better option than buying a cheap paint strainer from the local hammer barn. It's stainless, so it's easy to clean, and it won't leave flecks of paint in the mash as it gets used and banged up over time. Definitely pays for itself from the first use."
