1/2 Inch BSP Super Sucker Self Priming Siphon Transfer Pump
The Super Sucker transfer pump is the quickest, most hassle-free solution to moving beer, wine, cider or spirits between vessels. Rack from the primary fermenter to secondary or from carboy to keg without the excess oxygen exposure that results from hand-pumping a siphon or blowing into a carboy hood.
Simply run transfer tubing from a racking cane to the pump and then to your receiving vessel, flip the switch, and let the Super Sucker do the work while you kick back and enjoy a cold one.
With the Super Sucker you don't need gravity or CO2 pressure to move liquid around. Thanks to the pump's considerable max lift height, you can leave your heavy, full fermenter on the ground and place the receiving keg or carboy side-by-side or even above the fermenter on a countertop.

It is important to remember to clean thoroughly and store dry to avoid potential sites of infection. We would recommend flushing/recirculating with a diluted mix of StellarSan for at least 2 minutes of contact time prior to using this pump.

"on first use I realised after about 30 seconds this is a clean fluid only transfer pump, One little piece of grain clogged it up. no good for transferring wort fermented on grain. I will need to come up with a filter mechanism, besides that it worked really well for that first 30 seconds. Maybe a modified floating dip tube."

"1/2 BSP fittings do not properly fit this item. Worse still, stainless fittings immediately stripped the thread on the pump rendering it useless. The item is not the quality I'd expect from Kegland but they happily gave me a refund. Also the item had evidently been factory tested and was still full of a extremely foul smelling liquid. Not a nice surprise when removing the caps."

"I tell ya, I've been messing around with manual/auto siphons for way too long. But now I'm never going back. So this little guy pumps a lot faster than I would get from my auto siphon, and also it doesn't rely on gravity so I don't have to lift my fermenting vessel especially high. It's also wayyy easier to get going, just dip the tube in and flip the switch. It also doesn't make a big mess when you finish! Wastage is minimal. And cleaning is easy, just dip the tube in cleaning mix, pump through, and soak for a bit, then the same process in sanitiser. For connections, using the 5mm ID/8mm OD line size is very convenient! If I had to state a con here, it'd be that it's noisy. But really, who cares? Works great with kegland's inline filter, too."
