This Low Profile Ball Lock Tapping Head Assembly has been designed to suit standard Stainless Steel Mini Kegs such as the following:
This particular tapping head kit comes included with 2.5bar pressure relief valve, liquid and gas ball lock posts and dip tube with filter.
The plastic carbonation caps used in the tapping head can withstand a wide range of chemicals used in the brewing industry and relatively high temperatures (over 100C). The Tapping Head itself is made from Stainless Steel so will withstand harsh conditions.
NOTE: The 5L keg shown in the photos is not included. You need to purchase this separately here.

"Great kit for the smaller kegs. Has a low profile and fits well into the keg. Only thing is the silicone angle piece. Is difficult to fit to the liquid post. Something like the attachment that is in the stainless ball lock mini kegs would be better."

"I wanted to put a floating dip tube in, I had a dip tube kit, but the mini keg opening is too small for the metal float. I made a ring of siphon tube, sealing it with a small bit of the rigid dip tube that comes with the tapping head, and looping it through the ring that normally attached the ball to the dip tube filter head. That fits through and works great as a floating dip tube."
"Being low profile is nice, but at what cost? I've had 2 or 3 of these because I'm insane. The silicon elbow is hard as heck to get on and often falls off. They all leak co2 to varying extents. And the semi rigid dip tube is such a pain, so I got better luck switching to silicon dip tubes all the way to the cap."

"This thing has drained my CO2 tank twice. I’ve used teflon tape on the threads and it still leaks. I’ve tried them tight, loose, and medium-tight and gas always gets out somehow. Sometimes, I’ll do a sanitizer test and it’ll be fine, only to come back later and hear gas hissing out. Cool concept, but I wish the posts were steel-to-steel."
