Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shot - 50mL

Ginger Beer Flavour Shot, your ticket to making spicy ginger beer to either Keg, Bottle or Can.

Flavour Profile:
Strong ginger spice backed by a balanced tangy sweetness. It's the kind of smack in the face a loved one would do to snap you out of a hypnotic flavour trance. Caution is advised

Ingredients:
Water, Acidity Regulator (E330), Natural Flavourings. 

How to use: 
KegLand Ready to Keg Kit
These kits utilise alcohol from VINKA so you don't have to ferment anything yourself. Depending on your Keg Size you'll use a number of Flavour Shot Sachets and FermStop Sachets and white sugar from your pantry. (See Recipes Below)

Keggers, Bottlers and Canners that use sugar to prime
You would simply add these flavour shots to your fermenter / bottling bucket / keg. It is very difficult to determine how much you would add as it depends on the flavour intensity of what you've brewed/mixed up. Whether that be a beer, seltzer or cider for example.
These Flavour Shots are extremely more potent when paired with a sugar or sugar alternative. Artificial sweeteners in dryer fermented recipes may be a great way to boost the flavour.

Soft Drink Ready to Keg Kit
These kits only utilise white sugar or artificial sweeteners, a number of Flavour Shots and FermStops based on the Keg Size.

Mix up a KL02899 19L Ball Lock Keg or a Half Size KL02882 9.5L Ball Lock Keg of classic ginger beer soft drink or alcoholic ginger beer at home with ease by following the instructions below. Simply mix, carbonate and enjoy! 

For best results ensure the beverage is fully carbonated before consuming and allow the keg to condition over 1-2 weeks as the flavour will settle and improve over time. For a less sweet option simply reduce the white sugar addition.

Blunderburg Ginger Beer Soft Drink Recipe (19L keg)

1. Dissolve 1.43kg White Sugar in 4L of warm/hot water then add it to your KL02899 19L Ball Lock Keg.
2. Add the 4 x Impressence Ginger Beer Flavour Shot sachets
   
3. Top up to 19L with water and add 2 x FermStop sachets.
   (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water)
   
4. Mix Keg Contents Well.
5. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]

Blunderburg Ginger Beer Soft Drink Recipe (9.5L keg)

1. Dissolve 715g White Sugar in 2L of warm/hot water then add it to your KL02882 9.5L Ball Lock Keg
2. Add the 2 x Impressence Ginger Beer Flavour Shot sachets
   
3. Top up to 19L with water and add 1 x FermStop Sachet.
   (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water)
   
4. Mix Keg Contents Well.
5. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]

Kit Includes:
1 x KL41966 - VINKA - Medium Cocktail Base - 5L
4 x KL41850 - Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shot - 50mL
2 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL

Recipe Instructions:

1. Dissolve 680g White Sugar in 2L of warm/hot water then add it to your KL02899 19L Ball Lock Keg.
2. Add the 5L VINKA Medium Cocktail Base
3. Add 4 x Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shot 50mL sachets
   
4. Top up to 19L with water and add 2 x FermStop sachets.
   (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water)
   
5. Mix Keg Contents Well.
6. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]

Kit Includes:
10 x KL37051 - VINKA - Medium Cocktail Base - 250mL 
2 x KL41850 - Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shot - 50mL
1 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL

Recipe Instructions:

1. Dissolve 340g White Sugar in 1L of warm/hot water then add it to your KL02882 9.5L Ball Lock Keg
   
2. Add the 10 x 250mL VINKA Medium Cocktail Bases
3. Add 2 x Ginger Beer Flavour Shot sachets.
   
4. Top up to 9.5L with water and add 1 x FermStop sachet.
   (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water)
   
5. Mix Keg Contents Well.
6. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]

BYO Alcohol Blunderburg Ginger Beer 19L Keg Kit Instructions (ABV 5.90%)
You will need:
4 x KL41850 - Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shot - 50mL
2 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL

Recipe Instructions:

1. Add 2.8L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka) to your KL02899 19L Ball Lock Keg.
2. Add 4 x KL41850 - Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shots - 50mL
3. Add 1.43kg White Sugar.
4. Top up to 19L with water and then add 2 x FermStop sachets.
   (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water)
5. Mix Keg Contents Well.
6. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]

You will need:
2 x KL41850 - Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shot - 50mL
1 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL

Recipe Instructions:

1. Add 1.4L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka) to your KL02899 19L Ball Lock Keg.
2. Add 2 x KL41850 - Impressence - Ginger Beer Flavour Shots - 50mL
3. Add 715g White Sugar.
4. Top up to 19L with water and then add 1 x  KL41928  FermStop sachet.
   (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water)
5. Mix Keg Contents Well.
6. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]
