CHÂTEAU Crystal from Castle Malting is a caramel malt with a coppery tone that contributes a rich malty flavor and full aroma to the beer. The malt provides increased body and a rounder malt profile, while also adding a warm amber color.

It is well suited to beer styles such as amber ales, dark lagers and other malty beers where more depth of malt character is desired. CHÂTEAU Crystal is equivalent to caramel malts around 150 EBC, such as Cara 150 and Caramunich III.
