Wifi / RAPT Integration

The BrewZilla brewery type has been used across the world and won homebrew competitions in every country the brewery has been sold.  It's the most sold single vessel brewery worldwide and can be used for Home Brewing, Distillation, Preserve Canning, Sous Vide Cooking or just as a boiler. Our larger versions can also be used as a portable hot tub!

Some features that differentiate this brewery from other Brewery designs are:

Complete Concave Draining Base
The new base design completely drains out meaning you capture every single bit of wort. No longer do you need to tilt the brewery to extract every last bit of wort.  This also makes it suitable for CIP cleaning using our new Low Volume CIP Spray Rotor (KL04329).

False Bottom Pump Protection Screen
One of the key features of all the BrewZilla single vessel units is the false bottom protection screen. This screen avoids the need for doing a whirlpool and it filters wort and prevents more than 95% of hops and hot break getting sucked into the pump and thus greatly reduces the blocked pump issues that are often an issue with other brewery designs.

PPSU Graduated Sight Glass (Stock standard in 4.1)
With the added sight glass you'll be able to sparge with confidence knowing the level of your BrewZilla without having to peer down the side/lift out the malt pipe.

Adjustable Lid Clamps (Stock standard in 4.1)
Now you can adjust the tension as required for whatever accessory you're adding to the top of your BrewZilla. Whether it be a lob-sided distillation apparatus or simply a tighter hold on Extension Sleeves.
WARNING: Do not use the clamps or adjustable clamps with a glass lid, the clamps are only designed for metal steam condenser, distillation lids or extensions.

Ultra Low Watt Density
The BrewZilla has signficantly lower watt density than other breweries.  The main benefit of lower watt densities are that it enables you to produce lighter colours of beers that would otherwise get some caramelisation.  The ultra low watt density also means you have less chance of boil overs, you get less crud sticking to the element making cleaning easier and ultimately reduces wear and tear on the element meaning even with significant abuse your elements will last way longer.

RAPT/Wifi Connected
The new Gen 4 model is the first BrewZilla that connects to the RAPT Portal (https://app.rapt.io/).  This portal allows you to track, record and monitor your brews online.  This greatly reduces the need for handwritten records of your brew day as it's all done automatically.  The RAPT portal also allows you to see every brew you have done in the past and control the brewery remotely so you can start pre-heating water remotely or simply keep an eye on the brewing process while you do something else.  Get push notifications to your mobile phone of when to add hops or start the boil.
Along with this ease of access and control. The RAPT BrewZilla will also allow you to fully customise your brewday with profiles specifically tuned to your style of brewing or your recipe. For example you could set up your profile to receive certain alarms or messages when you are required to do something. E.g. Adding grain when the strike temperature is reached. Mash-Out Alarm when you're ready to sparge, Salt / Hop additions when you've reached the boil. As well as hop stand additions or chilling instructions. All of this at the touch of a button that is preprogrammed to what you want to do. No more egg timers, no more phone timers. Everything controlled by the one area.

Bluetooth Gateway Device
KegLand is currently developing various bluetooth devices such as KL24334 RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer (low energy BLE) other sensors which will be compatible with this brewery.  This brewery is able to receive the BLE beacons and relay this information onto the RAPT portal.  Also by receiving multiple BLE thermometer sensors the Brewery is able to make smater and more automated decisions on how to control the brewing or distillilation process.  For example a BLE thermometer can be placed into your coolant water so you get an alarm if the temperature is too high, a BLE thermometer can be put into the middle of the malt pipe so you can more accurately control elements switching on/off to achieve a core malt pipe temperature etc.

Improved Base Design with Easy Access Pump
The new base design means we have sealed all the electronics on the underside of the brewery into a separate junction box. This has allowed us to omit the bottom cover.  This significant design change means that the pump can be accessed much more easily.  It also means the plumbing can be changed more easily too. For instance you can re-arrange the plumping to the pump to pump into the tap outlet or change this so the tap outlet bypasses the pump.  These changes make it more flexible but also much easier to take apart the pump for cleaning and maintenance if required.

RAPT Controller with Full Colour Screen
The new RAPT controller has an easy to read full colour screen. The controller can also be disconnected easily making wash down easier.  The controller is mounted in a higher position with a tilting frame so you can angle the screen toward you depending on how tall you are.  The new controller module is packed with features and KegLand is consistently updating firmware to include more features.  Firmware updates are quick and painless and with a single click you can upgrade all Gen 4 units to the latest firmware to take advantage of new features and accessories. Forget getting on your knees mid-brew, do it all while standing or sitting next to your BrewZilla.
The controller can also activate the pump. Meaning there are no toggle switches anywhere on the BrewZilla Gen 4.

IEC Cable for Easy Storage
The new design has a removable IEC cable so you can unplug the cable making it more neat for storage.

Improved Lid Handles
The new lid handles are better designed and made from stainless so they are more robust and more ergonomic to hold especially with wet hands.

Two Stage Oversized Malt Pipe
This new malt pipe design is 30% larger meaning you can mash more grains and either make more beer or make higher gravity beers.  the new malt pipe also has a two stage height adjustment so you hand half lift the malt pipe and set on the supporting halo ring halfway up.  This makes it more ergonomical so you can lift the heavy malt pipe up in two stages but has the second advantage that it makes the brewery more suitable for smaller batches too where raising the malt pipe half way up is preferable.

Brewzilla All-in-One

"My journey in brewing since last year has been achieving some great result, so the next logical step was to go from extract to all grain. The brewzilla has simplified my operations while at the same time allowing me to gain more control over my brewing. Being able to do it all out of the one vessel keeps things productive for me. The system itself is great. The functionality is great also. Being able to track everything via the RAPT portal is a great feature too, although I’m still learning how to bet utilize it. I am really enjoying learning the craft through this system and I do highly recommend this unit."

Works for cider too

"The BrewZilla 4. 1 is an absolute beast! While I've seen plenty of videos of it before, running one (finally) was just great. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into this current design and I really like the bottom centre drain, which can be used with or without the pump. My first use was to pasteurise some cider after fermentation, which was a breeze. I'm not using the immersion chiller as I opted to purchase the Red Reaper counterflow chiller, which also worked really well - once you get all the pipes hooked up. :) The only thing that seems to require a bit more work are the instructions, though the settings and options are easy enough to work out. For example, adjusting the power percentage for heating took a little while to figure out, i. e. that I needed to turn the graph off so the setting could be accessed - not (yet) readily apparent from the online manual. But that's a relatively minor issue."

Easy

"I used to use the digiboil/digimash, but the rapt features, and design including the integrated pump, and recirc arm make this so much easier, efficient, and more fun."

Brewzilla 4. 1

"I have only used it once, but it worked great. The construction is good quality, and set up was easy. I love the 2 step malt pipe which makes it very easy for sparging. The controls were easy to use and logical. The only downside is that I found the RAPT website a bit hit and miss. So I did my brew totally manually, but aI think I prefer that anyway"

Brewzilla 35ltr

"Well built unit haven’t used yet looking forward to use. Quick delivery."

Don't forget the heat exchanger. . . . .

"Works great but I feel it should ship with the heat exchanger attachment as the system is far more effective with it. Looks mint set up next to my 65 Litre Digiboil set up."

Makes things so much easier

"I can't believe how much easier this system makes brewing. No more lugging hot water around, siphening, dealing with multiple containers. My first brew I was able to keep the mash temp within 0. 5 degrees, and it boils super quick. Recommend getting the temp probe and jacket as well."

Long overdue upgrade!

"Finally upgraded from the OG Robobrew v1. Should have taken the plunge earlier, but I got over 9 years out of the original brewery, so really happy with the value for money! SO MANY upgrades! Brewday is a breeze. More powerful element with variable power settings gives great temperature control. Pump control so useful. RAPT connectivity etc. etc. Much easier clean up. I'm in love."

Aidan D. (5/5)

Awesome all in one brew system

"Easy to use, lots of video support online, easy to clean. I have used it many times now and it still performs flawlessly. Only downside, I would like it if the pump was stronger, or could be upgraded like the larger Brewzillas- this pump is just a little too weak when trying to pump through the counterflow chiller."

Craig W. (4/5)

The journey begins. .

"Ordered a large amount of kit for the start of my brewing journey. Turned up early and all extremely well packaged. Am now a repeat customer and happy to be!"

Q&A

Wife asked if she was to buy a 35 litre Brewzilla could she use it for cooking jams, sauces and canning the haul bottles for fruit and vege bottling. I said I’d ask providing it’s not happening in my brewing area! Caveat accepted, contract at this point only verbal, by inquiring party. - Wife. Interesting angle though , guess it’s been raised before, maybe
We use them to sous vide meat - there's literally nothing you can't do, so full speed ahead, my friend - you have my full authorisation
This unit pulls around 10-11A so it should technically be able to run on a 15A circuit. But all the articles that I read online says that I need a 30A circuit. This could potentially damage the unit so I don't feel comfortable plugging this into a circuit that's almost three times the protection. Would a 15A or a 20A circuit work with this unit instead? I'm trying to get to brewing with my new unit but I don't know what type of breaker or cable to buy to install the circuit inside of my garage.
The 35L only needs a standard 10amp circuit (normal Aussie domestic plug). The 65L is a 15 amp unit though
What specs should I be looking at when buying an extension cord for the 220v system?
Hey Joe - any extension rated to 220V should be fine
