This the upgraded malt pipe for the BrewZilla 35L model when you add the 12L Boiler Extension. It does not come with an extra Halo Support Ring, you will need to either purchase one if you are using a DigiBoil 35L + Extension, or remove the one out of your BrewZilla and place higher. A new feature of these Extended Malt Pipes is the added feet half way up the malt pipe. Thanks to our Facebook community group we added these in to help those who find it difficult to lift in one motion.

It can also be used on the Digiboil 35L model so you can use a malt pipe with the Digiboil 35L boiler.

Dimensions:
270mm Diameter
580mm High
Feet are approximately at the 300mm Mark.

Dimensions of Standard Malt Pipe for G3:
270mm Diameter
385mm High

35 litre extension

"Brewed 1st with the extension today. Takes a lot longer to heat up, just meant my mate and I had a few extra beers while waiting. Only other problem is that there's no perforations around the base like on the standard so takes a long time to sparge. I'll have to get my pulley system up as it does increase the weight when lifting. Even after a lot of adjustment, I couldn't get the clamps on the brewzilla to lock the extension down so used a few nails and managed. I'll probably get another extension so that my mate and I can do a double, 23 litres each, brew day."

Great upgrade

"Very happy with the extended malt pipe."

It does the job and

"It does the job and the quality is the same as the original pipe, however it doesn't have the drilled holes around the base like the original gen 4 one does. I had a painful hour long sparge the first time I used it, and I'm sure the lack of extra drainage holes contributed at least a little to that. Hope you release a V2, but won't do me any good unfortunately."

Bigger batches

"A must for the bigger batches. I can get a 40l / 2 keg run done and cut down on brew days."

Q&A

For the gen 3 35L brewzilla, what is the mash tun dead space in the equipment profile in brewing software for the extended malt pipe? The standard malt pipe set up has 6.75L of headspace
The extended malt pipe is designed for the 12L extension - otherwise it will extend beyond the rim of the BrewZilla.
