"I use this extension with the steam condenser to avoid boil over. Without it, the steam condenser causes the boiling wort to foam up a lot. I works very well to reduce this."
"I have been using the 35l digiboil without the extension for a couple of years. Ive realised when doing all grain mash I run out of room for water pretty quickly, especially when using the malt tube and a grain bag, (all to make clean up easier) This extension allows more room for fluid giving A better chance of achieving full gelatinisation of the grain bill! Which in turn makes for a better outcome!"
"Bought 2 of these so that I could increase volume without having to spend a heap of extra money upgrading from the 35l brewzilla to the 65l. Works really well although have to be careful how much grain you put in."
"Looks good, fits perfectly, doing 1st larger brew today"
"Pretty good product for anyone wanting to squeeze out double keg batches. Seals alright, though I had a tiny bit of seepage with my first use. Nothing bad, to be honest the wort drying probably acted like a glue to stop further leaking. In hindsight I kind of wish I just got the bigger brewzilla from the get go, but this is a solid solution for anyone who already had the small one and wanted to get a bit more out of it. If you’re doing double batches be mindful that if your mash gets a bit stuck, the extra length makes things exponentially worse than the base size, which is why the larger model might be better to use. The cost of collecting all pieces for this setup gets a bit pricey too."
"Good product"
"It does the job as advertised. Good seal, no leaks. A practical way to increase boiler size and the heating elements handle the extra volume without a problem."
"Good but could have been slightly larger volume"
"Makes mashing a lot easier when you are looking at squeezing a bit more grain into the 35 litre boiler"
