Acacia Wood Cubes - 100g
106558
Acacia wood cubes.
These are cubes from trees in the deep forests of the Palatinate, in southern Germany.
These give fresh, fine notes with hints of honeydew melon and fresh herbs.
Disinfection:
We recommend leaving the cubes and chips to soak in brandy for a few days before adding them.
There are several options here, try to find something that you think suits the finished result.
You can also put them in the oven, but be careful, as too high heat and/or too long a time in the oven can change the properties of the cubes. 90 degrees for 5-8 minutes is recommended.
Contact time and quantity:
There is no definitive answer to this. Beer style, storage and your own taste preferences come into play.
Chips can be stored for 3-7 days, and cubes for 1-6 months. Taste as you go.

Product information "Cubes made of acacia wood"
Acacia wood Cubes or Chips, more correctly Robinia wood Cubes or Chips come from the Palatinate forest from wild growth.
They give fine, fresh notes paired with honeydew melon and fresh herbs. Acacia wood finds its application where freshness and structure giving elements in the maturation are important. Robinia somewhat conceals overripeness, the wine or distillate appears leaner.
Heavily toasted give the cubes or chips, bacon strong smoke aromas.
