This is a EPDM seal for use with 3inch Tri-Clover Clamps.

Stainless steel Tri-clamp fittings are a sanitary and clamped connection for hygienic tube. Often used in commercial brewery and winery applications, they are connections sealed usually by an EPDM or NBR seal. Union components in contact with product such as ferrules and blanks are made of grade 316 stainless steel whilst external parts such as clamps are made of grade 304 stainless steel.
