"I had to buy a new aeration stone because the one that came with the aeration wand kit had unfortunately developed unwanted mold after cleaning. I suspect the stone wasn't completely dry when I put the kit away; a month later, when I went to use my wort aerator, there were two spots of green mold on the surfaces that had been touching the ziplock bag I stored it in."
