Take your distillation to the next level with super high density spiral prismatic packing. This packing maximises the purity of the collected distillate from your reflux still ensuring the best possible product is collected.
The prismatic spiral shape of this packing maximises its surface helping to separate out fractions in your reflux resulting in a highly pure and neutral end product.
This is not suggested to be used in a pot still in as the high surface area will result in a neutral end product.
NOTE: It is advised to soak and wash the SPP before first use with a 50:50 mix of vinegar or citric acid and warm to hot water to remove all manufacturing oils.
Sizing
The SPP is approximately 3.35mm x 3.45mm. Suitable to fill 1 x 2 Inch Tri-Clover Extension Tube. One 500gram bag of SPP is enough to fill approximately 0.5Litres
The HETP for this packing is approximately 30mm. That is roughly 33 theoretical plates per meter.

"Hi I have tried the small spirals several times in my 2" extension feeding a reflux still mounted on top off another empty extension so 20mm above the boiler. But no luck as it keeps flooding no matter how slow I run the still. Maybe it would work better on a 3" or bigger column where there is enough area for fluids to run back or maybe the bigger spirals would drain better? So I've gone back to copper scrubbers which seem to work fine."
