DIY Beer Tap Handle Inserts - Dual Threaded - 3/8″-16 threads, .625″ Length
Want to make your own unique tap handles? But the thread type is strange and overseas prices are just $$$! KegLand now has the answer with these simplistic brass inserts.
All you'll need is a 12.7mm (1/2") Hole drilled into your handle (Pine, Red Gum, Oak, Cherry, Maple ect) Then screw in with a large flat screw driver.
It is important not to push down too hard if you're going to be using a screw driver, or wide drill bit. It will strip the thread. Let the piece cut into the wood. Ensure that it is straight.
Suits NukaTap and Intertap taps

"Worked great with some taps I made on a wood lathe. Good product!"
"Just what you need if you make REAL pump handles 😀"
"Next project is to dust off the wood lathe at the back of the shed and make up a pair of custom tap handles"
"These were just what I needed and worked well. Could not find anything comparable at the price. Needed 4 so bought 10 because that was cheaper at the price break. Worked well in hardwood but had to use a 14mm drill."
"Easy to fit and well suited to most tap threads. So if you can drill it, you can turn it into a tap handle ...."
"Nice machining, however when inserted into a pre-drilled ½" / 12.9mm hole the threads sheer off, rather than cut into hard wood turned handles. Stick with soft timber and they should work. Unsuitable for hard timber unless you are prepared for extra work and glue."
"Great product and very easy to install"
