Kegmenter is a type of stainless steel fermentation tank designed like a commercial brewing keg, but with a 10cm tri-clamp opening at the top for connecting additional equipment. The tank can be pressurized up to 2.5 bar.
It comes with a connection for an airlock. As an upgrade, you can replace the lid with the Kegmenter Pressure Kit, which includes a lid with ball lock connections, a pressure relief valve, and a dip tube that ensures you always tap from the top of the contents. With the Pressure Kit, this becomes a fully functional unitank, where you can ferment under pressure and serve the finished beer from the same tank.
A thermowell can be installed by drilling a hole in the side of the tank. See recommended accessories further down the page.
Kegmenter has a stated maximum pressure setting of 2.5 bar. This is specified for safety reasons when using the included lid attachment, in case someone accidentally unscrews it while the keg is under pressure. The tank itself has been pressure tested up to 5 bar.

"nice piece of gear, well made. a small observation. . . . . . if one of the 2 inch TC fittings near the base was lifted slightly higher than the other it would be possible to inset a second heating element for when its used as a boiler. then two 2200watt heating elements could be installed without cutting a 32mm hole in it."
